We are super excited about Korcula resident Manja Ristić (violinist, sound artist, published poet, curator, and researcher) being shortlisted for the Sound of the Year Awards in London. The best everyday, innovative, and creative sounds from all corners of the world are judged by a panel of leading lights from the international sound community. 

Manja draws much of her inspiration from the sounds of Korcula and the Adriatic sea underworld. We love the meditative states of her soundscapes and how she captures the beauty of stories that Korcula’s shores tell to those who listen.
